Project Title: Samaritan Security

Client & Advisor: self/Dr. Trajcevski

Team members: Ryan Goluch, Saba Shaarbaf-Toosi, Kate Brune, Ann Gould, Devin Uner, Thomas Paris

Weekly Summary:

• This week we created our second lightning talk, our design document, and made architecture decisions about servers.

Past week accomplishments:

• completed design document v1

• experimented with setting up server cloning and communication

Pending Issues:

• well define and justify the information we are using

• decide on what we need to buy for this project

Individual Contributions

Plans for the upcoming week:

• Ann Gould: add team page to website and updated website with information pertaining to the project.

• Saba Shaarbaf-Toosi: Working on getting basic idea of what front end will look like. Devin will be providing rough sketch of front-end and I will work with Kate as well to develop a prototype for the basic front end of the web application.

• Kate Brune: Work on some frontend for the server tool, start thinking about frontend design for the application.

• Ryan Goluch: Work on backend cloning connection and setup in order to grow distributed server network.

• Devin Üner: Worked on backend cloning logistics.

• Start looking more into backend development for the project. Continue to work on the design document and stay on top of class assignments.

Summary of advisor meeting:

• We talked about deciding on a specific scenario to base our product around, and talked about marketing in the frame of making claims and being able to back them up. We also discussed getting funds for hardware and other resources we will be using.
