Project Title: Samaritan Security

Team members: Ryan Goluch, Saba Shaarbaf-Toosi: Advocate, Kate Brune, Ann Gould, Devin Uner, Thomas Paris

Weekly Summary:

• Talked about design document v2 and started talking about final presentation

Past week accomplishments:

• finished revisions for the design document v2

• created a template app for distributing the backend (using MongoDB and Flask)

Pending Issues:

• figuring out kubernetes or our own homegrown solution for scaling out our backend

Individual Contributions

Plans for the upcoming week:

• Ann Gould: finish up documentation, play around and do research with Kubernetes. Creating API.

• Saba Shaarbaf-Toosi: met with Kate to work on screen sketches for the front end layout of website. Did revisions for design document

• Kate Brune: work on understanding what information needs to be available on the front end and start designing the layout, work on the design document

• Ryan Goluch: Continued to work on the Design Document V2 by adding content and making what had been added by other members more cohesive. In addition to that, started working on the development of the synchronization module for the database and the backend.

• Devin Üner: Worked more on communications between servers.

• Thomas Paris: Continued work on the Design Document, Formalized production schedule of the project, Continued research into potential physical assets for production testing such as cameras.

Summary of advisor meeting:

• Goce shared other teams proposals with us and some guildlines for our final project.
